Before you start
- Do not open ventilation screw above cooling water pump while generator is running.
Procedure
- Fill external expansion tank with coolant to max mark; open cap.
- Start generator; do not load; switch off after max 2 minutes.
- Wait about one minute for air to rise.
- Open all three ventilation points one after another until cooling water exits; close screws.
- Repeat de-aeration steps until no air exits.
- Check cooling water is circulating.

- Coolant/antifreeze mixture good for at least -15°C (5°F)
