Before you start
- Burn hazard: generator and coolant can be hot.
Procedure
- Place generator level; for marine, ship not lop-sided.
- Run generator about 10 minutes to warm engine; wait 3 minutes.
- Open casing and pull oil dipstick; clean.
- Insert dipstick, wait 10 seconds, pull and read level.
- Refill if below 1/3; recommended level 2/3; do not exceed MAX.
