Procedure

1. Remove air cleaner cover and locate air filter plastic cover
2. Carefully remove foam air filter element and wash with liquid detergent and water only
3. Squeeze dry in a clean cloth
4. Saturate foam element with clean engine oil and squeeze out excess
5. Reinstall clean or new air filter element
6. Reattach air filter cover
7. Reinstall air cleaner cover and tighten cover screw
