Before you start
- Do not crank/start engine before properly filled with oil
Procedure
- Place generator on flat, level surface
- Loosen cover screw and remove maintenance cover
- Clean area around oil fill, remove yellow oil fill cap/dipstick
- Wipe dipstick clean
- Slowly pour oil into fill opening until reaching upper limit H mark on dipstick
- Replace oil fill cap/dipstick and tighten
- Reinstall maintenance cover and tighten screws
- Check oil level before each use or at least every 8 hours
