Procedure

1. Remove air cleaner cover and locate air filter plastic cover
2. Carefully remove foam air filter element and wash with liquid detergent and water only, squeeze dry
3. Saturate foam element with clean engine oil and squeeze to remove excess
4. Reattach air filter cover
5. Reinstall clean or new air filter element
6. Reinstall air cleaner cover and tighten screw
