Before you start
- Never start with electrical devices plugged in
Procedure
- Move generator outdoors to safe location at least 20 feet from occupied spaces
- Disconnect all electrical loads
- Turn fuel valve to ON position
- Flip engine switch to ON position
- Move choke lever to START position
- Pull starter cord slowly until resistance, then pull rapidly
