Procedure
- Remove T-handle (1) and lid from the top of the unit.
- Screw T-handle into centre tube finger tight.
- Fill the assembly with clean fuel to just above the top of the element.
- Lubricate the lid gasket (2) and T-handle (1) o-ring with clean fuel.
- Replace the lid taking care to seat the gasket correctly and tighten the T-handle - do not use tools.
- Operate the priming switch (if fitted) to give the system a 2 minute prime.
- Start engine.
- In the event of a failure to start within 3 crank cycles, see the troubleshooting section for the repeat prime procedure.
