Before you start
- Operating starter motor more than 5 seconds can damage motor; wait 10 seconds before retrying
Procedure
- Shut breaker OFF
- Turn gas valve ON (rotate counter-clockwise to vertical)
- Close choke (slide lever left)
- Press engine switch to START position
- Allow switch to return to RUN position when engine starts
- Open choke as engine warms up
