Before you start
- Adjust only when engine is cold
Procedure
- Turn crankshaft to bring #1 piston to compression top dead center.
- Loosen lock nuts of rocker arm adjusting screws.
- Insert 0.4 mm feeler gauge between rocker arm and valve stem.
- Turn adjusting bolt until gauge can be pulled out with some restriction.
- Hold adjusting bolt and tighten lock nut.
- Measure clearance again and adjust if necessary.
