Procedure

  1. Turn the POWER switch to ON.
  2. Turn Power switch to START position to crank engine; hold in START approximately 5 seconds after engine starts.
  3. Release Power Switch (it will automatically move to ON) when engine starts and sustains running.
  4. Allow engine to warm up 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. If so equipped, press the Service Air Button; open air service valve(s).

  • Do not operate the starter motor for more than 30 seconds without allowing at least 30 seconds cooling time between start attempts
