Doosan C185 / C185WKUB-T2 — Convert Drawbar From Shipping Position to Towing Position
Installation
For the Doosan C185 / C185WKUB-T2, from the Doosan owner's manual.
Applies to: Kubota 2403T engine
Procedure
- Remove hardware box from compressor toolbox and open.
- Using the jack, raise the front of the unit so legs are approximately 1 inch above ground.
- Remove the temporary retaining bolts from both sides of the frame at the drawbar connection.
- Carefully lower drawbar to the Level Position.
- Install the four bolts (with pre-applied thread lock) to the four points inside the enclosure and torque to 68 ft. lbs. (9.4 kg-m).
- Install safety chains by sliding the second link of one chain into the slot in drawbar plate; fasten chain with taptite and washer; repeat for other chain.
- Temporarily support drawbar and move jack from front of compressor to side of drawbar.
