Detroit Diesel — Remove Exhaust Valve Seat Insert

Procedure
- Bolt the cylinder head in the holding fixture J 23741-A.
- Place the collet of the valve seat insert remover J 23479-D inside the valve seat insert so the bottom of the collet is flush with the bottom of the insert.
- Press down on the handle to remove the valve insert from the cylinder head.
