Before you start
- Be careful not to cut individual wire strands during stripping.
Procedure
- Strip back outer shield 3 1/8 in. (76 mm).
- Strip green wire and yellow wire 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) being careful not to cut individual strands.
- Re-twist all three wires if they have separated.
- Sleeve drain wire may be soldered to aid in sleeving.
- Install terminals on green and yellow wire ends, and crimp.
- The 1/4 inch heat shrink tube will be shrunk later after the wires have been inserted into the crimp connector.

- 3 1/8 in. (76 mm) outer shield strip
- 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) wire strip
- 1/4 inch heat shrink tube
