Procedure

  1. Remove pipe plug or ether line from the cold air discharge pipe and install a connector and plastic tubing
  2. Connect the other end of the tubing to the 30 lb/in.2 pressure gauge on the Model 200 Pressure Test Kit (139257)
  3. Operate the engine under load until the engine reaches normal operating temperature
  4. Measure the intake manifold pressure at full load and rated speed, and at full load and the specified lower speed

Tools required

  • 30 lb/in.2 pressure gauge
  • Model 200 Pressure Test Kit (139257)
