Before you start
- Use care when positioning the vibration damper hub to avoid damage to the lip of the crankshaft front oil seal.
Procedure
- Install the vibration damper hub on the front end of the crankshaft using six self-locking bolts; tighten to 180-190 lb-ft.
- Position the inner vibration damper, spacer and outer vibration damper over the hub and secure with the six 7/16" bolts and lock washers.
- Tighten the bolts to 57-61 lb-ft.
- Install the crankshaft pulley.
