Before you start
- Do not tighten injector clamp bolt to more than 20-25 lb-ft (27-34 Nm) torque, as this may cause moving parts of injector to bind
Procedure
- Note position of exhaust valve bridge before, during and after tightening rocker shaft bracket bolts
- Do not tighten injector clamp bolt to more than 20-25 lb-ft (27-34 Nm)
- Tighten rocker shaft bolts to 50-55 lb-ft (68-75 Nm) torque
- Align fuel pipes and connect them to injector and fuel connectors
- Use socket J 8932-01 and torque wrench for proper tightening

- Torque wrench
- Socket J 8932-01

- 20-25 lb-ft (27-34 Nm) injector clamp
- 50-55 lb-ft (68-75 Nm) rocker shaft bolts
