Before you start
- Do not twist or insert tool at an angle.
Procedure
- With the rear insert toward you, snap the appropriate size remover tool over the cable of contact to be removed.
- Slide the tool along the cable into the insert cavity until it engages and resistance is felt; do not twist.
- Pull contact cable assembly out of the connector keeping reverse tension on the cable and forward tension on the tool.
