Procedure
- Stage 1 - Compressed Air Ash Removal: regenerate DPF on vehicle, then cool and remove DPF.
- Connect DPF to a pressurized air cleaning system that flushes out loose ash particles.
- Stage 2 - Remanufactured Exchange Program: proprietary washing process for ash removal available as a Detroit Diesel Remanufactured Product.
- During the demonstration period, all necessary cleaning will be performed by Detroit Diesel.
