Before you start
- Adjust the valve clearance when in cold
Procedure
- Bring No.1 cylinder piston to compression top dead center by turning crankshaft
- Loosen lock nuts of rocker arm adjusting screws
- Insert feeler gauge of specified value between rocker arm and valve stem
- Adjust clearance with adjusting screw, then tighten lock nut
- Recheck valve clearance after tightening
