DAEWOO — Cooling Fan Belt Tension Check and Adjustment

For these DAEWOO models: DB33, PO34Ti.

Applies to: Daewoo DB33, Daewoo DB33 Engine, Daewoo PO34Ti, Daewoo PO34Ti Engine

Procedure

  1. By the finger-pressure the belt is pressed by 10 mm among the water pump pulley, the alternator pulley in normal condition.
  2. For the adjustment of the tension, loosen the bolts in the adjusting plate which supports the alternator.
  3. Adjust the tension and tighten the bolts again.

Specs & torque values

  • Proper depression amount: 10 mm between water pump pulley and alternator pulley
