Before you start

  • Do not mingle metal bearings and caps randomly.

Procedure

  1. Remove main bearing cap fixing bolts in order of assembly.
  2. Maintain removed bearing caps in order of cylinders.
  3. Temporarily install bolts at both sides of crankshaft.
  4. Lift shaft with rope.
