Procedure
- 15.1 - 18.9 litres [4.0 - 5.0 U.S. Gal.] - 5.0 U.S. Gal.] > Se
- 1. Apply liquid soap around the regulator to check for
- 2. Check for leaks at all line connections by applying lig-
- 3. On CNGE turbocharged engine models, check the throt-
- 1. Fixed number of hours or calendar time, whichever
- 2. Utilization of a detailed oil analysis program.
- 1. Operate the engine until the water temperature reach-
- 2. Clean the area around the lubricating oil filter head.
- 3. Make sure that the correct oil filter is instalted. CNGE
- 4. Fill the oil filter with clean lubricating oil. The Jack of
- 5. Apply a light film of lubricating oil to the gasket seal-
- 6. Install the filter as specified by the filter manufacturer.
- 7. Check and clean the oil drain plug threads and seal-
- 8. Install the oil drain plug.
- 9. Fill the engine to the proper levels.
- 10. Operate the engine at idle to inspect for leaks at the
- 11. Stop the engine. Wait for approximately 5 minutes to
- 12. Add oil as necessary to bring the oil level to the at Fe
- 1. Turn the coolant shutoff valve to the “Off” position.
- 2. Remove and discard the coolant filter. Clean the gas-
