Before you start

  • Close drain hose sea cock before beginning procedure

Procedure

  1. Prepare by closing the drain hose sea cock and disconnecting the hose from the water fitting
  2. Conduct the test by opening the sea cock while keeping the hose raised to its fitting on the genset
  3. Observe water flow to verify proper operation of the intake system
