Before you start
- A new voltage regulator can be damaged by malfunctioning components; do not install until all other problems are corrected.
Procedure
- Stop the generator set and disconnect the starting battery leads, negative (-) lead first.
- Unscrew the voltage regulator from the control box.
- Disconnect the regulator from the wiring harness.
- Remove the mounting screws from the old voltage regulator, then install the new regulator.
- Reconnect the plug connection to the wiring harness.
- Set voltage as outlined in [G] Voltage Adjustment.
