Before you start
- Do not install a new voltage regulator until all other problems are located and corrected.
Procedure
- Stop the generator set and disconnect battery leads, negative first.
- Unscrew the voltage regulator from the control box.
- Disconnect the regulator from the wiring harness.
- Remove the mounting screws from the old voltage regulator.
- Install the new regulator.
- Reconnect the plug connection to the wiring harness.
- Set voltage per Voltage Adjustment procedure.
