Cummins/Onan — Controller A1 Removal/Replacement

Procedure

  1. Remove the enclosure.
  2. Remove the controller bracket.
  3. Use a small flat-bladed screwdriver to lever out the catch on Connector P1/J1.
  4. Pull the connector apart.
  5. Unsnap connector P9 from the back of the switch for access to its terminals.
  6. Control
  7. Replace the switch if one of the following is true:
  8. Disconnect all wiring.
  9. Check electrical resistance across the terminals of the circuit breaker.
  10. Replace a circuit breaker that does not:
  11. Control
  12. Disconnect the wire from K1 B+ terminal on the battery charge regulator.
  13. Measure the output from the battery charge windings, B1-B2. The output should be between 15 and
