Before you start
- Dropping the genset can cause severe personal injury or death. Remove the keys and disconnect the negative (–) battery cable; keep feet and hands clear.
Procedure
- Use the template supplied with the under-floor mounting kit to locate the holes in the vehicle support structure.
- If the area above the compartment is wood, install a 26-gauge (0.02-inch) galvanized metal plate above the genset.
- Assemble the under-floor mounting kit according to the instructions provided with the kit.
- Use a forklift to raise the genset into position in the support frame and secure with the kit mounting hardware.

Specs & values
- Minimum space of 1 inch (25.4 mm) between genset and vehicle skirt for air inlet
- Minimum side, back and top clearance 1/4 inch (6.4 mm)
