Before you start
- The transfer switch presents a shock hazard that can cause severe personal injury or death unless all AC power is removed.
Procedure
- Open the transfer switch cabinet door.
- Remove all control and power wiring from the switch terminals.
- Loosen and remove the four screws, nuts, and washers that secure the switch panel and switch to the rear wall of the cabinet.
- Lift out the switch and panel assembly and set it aside.
- Remove the switch from the mounting panel.
