Procedure

  1. 1. Drain all water from the radiator and engine.
  2. 2. Remove the radiator outlet and inlet.
  3. 3. Disconnect fuel line to carburetor.
  4. 4. Remove air cleaner and choke assembly.
  5. 5. Disconnect governor arm at carburetor.
  6. 6. Remove carburetor and intake manifold.
  7. 7. Disconnect ignition wires and remove spark plugs.
  8. 8. Remove magneto assembly.
  9. 9. Remove tappet cover
  10. 10. Remove cylinder head nuts and lift cylinder head from the block.
