Procedure

1. 2. Disconnect exhaust pipe, fuel line, battery cables
2. 3. Slide unit to its full out position .
3. 4. Install lifting eye in 3/8-16 threaded hole in intake
4. 5. Remove six bolts on sliding arms, three on each
5. 6. Lift unit out of its slide rails and place on a suitable
6. 10. Remove the crank gear, using a gear puller and
7. 13. Remove oil base, oil pump and cylinder heads .
8. 14. Remove valves, springs, lifters, etc .
9. 15. Remove camshaft and gear assembly .
10. 16. Remove connecting rods, pistons and bearings .
11. 17. Remove rear bearing plate .
12. 18. Remove crankshaft .
13. 19. Remove front main bearing
