Before you start

  • If possible, hot shutdown under load should be avoided to help prolong the reliability of the generator set.

Procedure

  1. Run the generator set at no load for three to five minutes before stopping.
  2. Press the Manual Run/Stop button.
  3. Genset completes its normal (Local Start) shutdown sequence.
  4. Genset stops after the cool-down at idle timer (0 to 30 minutes) has timed out.
  5. Turning the O/Manual/Auto switch to O causes an immediate engine shutdown (bypasses Cool-down At Idle).

Specs & values

  • Cool-down at idle 0 to 30 minutes
