Before you start

  • Take care with transformer assembly as it is spring loaded

Procedure

  1. 1. Remove ignition harness wire from transformer terminal
  2. 2. Remove screws securing transformer cover, retainer, spring and transformer ground wire to rocker cover; lift off cover
  3. 3. Unscrew spark plug from rocker cover

Tools required

  • Ignition harness wire
