Before you start

  • EXHAUST GAS is deadly.

Procedure

  1. Perform the pre-start checks.
  2. Press and release the Display ON button.
  3. Wait for “GEN OFF” to appear.
  4. Press and hold the START button until the generator set starts; up to three attempts.
  5. Press the GEN OFF button to reset the control if the generator set does not start after three attempts.
  6. Let the generator set warm up a few minutes before connecting loads.
  7. Check for fuel, oil and exhaust leaks.
