Procedure

1. Remove the bearing with a bearing puller
2. Install a new bearing by careful tapping at inner race with soft metal pipe with rod, or by pressing if available
3. Dress slip rings carefully by machine turning or by hand as conditions warrant
4. If major repair has occurred to disturb balance, check balance and correct
