Procedure
- With engine running, check DC voltmeter. 12-volt system should read 13.5 to 15 volts.
- Check for loose drive belt, poor terminal connections, broken wires, bad regulator or alternator.
- If output voltage is over 15 volts, check for loose or corroded voltage regulator leads.
