Before you start
- Correct any leaks before starting the unit.
Procedure
- Remove all protective grease coatings and wipe unit clean.
- Inspect unit carefully for damage; service as needed.
- Remove plug from exhaust outlet.
- Remove, clean and adjust spark plugs.
- Examine all fuel and oil connections; service as needed.
- Refill crankcase with correct amount and grade of oil.
- Lubricate governor linkage ball joint with powdered graphite.
- Check for fuel or oil leaks; connect battery cables and start in regular manner.
