Procedure

  1. First perform procedure given for starter disassembly.
  2. Tie single knot in end of new cord.
  3. Thread cord through rotor hole and out through rotor cord groove, pulling knot into cavity.
  4. Wind rope on rotor.
  5. Replace handle, tying a double knot.
  6. Perform procedure given for starter assembly.
