Procedure
- Check coolant level and record freeze protection (-30).
- Visual inspection of radiator.
- Visual inspection of radiator hoses.
- Check condition of coolant hoses.
- Check condition of fuel hoses.
- Check condition of engine belts.
- Check batteries and quantity: 4x 8D's (start unit).
- Verify genset has battery charger.
- Verify genset has coolant heater.
- Check engine oil level.
- Record engine oil filter last change date and hours: 222 HRS, 4/2024.
- Inspect exhaust system for cracks / leaks.
- Check rain cap for proper operation (tested without).
- Confirm generator end lead configuration: 6 lead.
- Verify generator end has PMG permanent magnet generator; electronic engine.
