Before you start

  • No filter cartridge or a damaged cartridge may cause dust to enter the engine and rapid erosion.

Procedure

  1. Remove the front access cover.
  2. Rotate and remove the air filter cover.
  3. Pull the air cleaner element out of the air cleaner housing.
  4. Clean sealing surface and install the new air cleaner element.
  5. Return the air filter cover and turn and tighten as indicated.
  6. Re-install the front access cover.
