Procedure
- Provide at least 6 inches (152 mm) clearance between either end of the genset and a bulkhead or other equipment.
- Provide an opening of at least 200 square inches of free open area in the generator end of the compartment, lined up with the generator.
- If the space between the radiator and an enclosure wall is greater than 1/4 inch (6.4 mm), close it off to prevent air recirculation.
- Ensure the duct or opening lines up with the radiator core (15.50 in wide by 12.14 in high); a grille must have at least 55 percent free open area.
- Install the coolant recovery tank in accordance with the kit instructions.
