Procedure
- Remove spark plug wire from spark plug
- Loosen and remove bolt on battery hold-down plate, swing plate out
- Tip battery forward slightly to access battery cables
- Disconnect black negative cable first
- Disconnect red positive cable second and remove battery
- Install new battery into generator frame
- Connect red positive cable to battery first
- Connect black negative cable to battery second
- Install battery hold-down plate using nuts removed earlier
- Install spark plug wire onto spark plug
