Procedure
- Remove the fuel tank.
- Remove the two bolts securing the muffler to the exhaust manifold.
- Remove the two bolts securing the muffler to the alternator.
- Remove the four bolts securing the muffler heat shield to the frame.
- Remove the exhaust manifold by removing the two nuts connecting it to the cylinder head.
