Procedure
- Install new head gasket.
- Place steel washers with flat side against head.
- Install nuts and hand-tighten following standard sequence, alternating back and forth across head.
- Use torque specs on page 23 unless label inside cylinder head shroud is different.
- Place exhaust adapter and torque to 10-12 lb. ft.
- Torque intake manifold cap screws to 18-20 lb. ft.
