Procedure
- Turn crankshaft so timing mark on crank gear is up toward camshaft.
- Apply engine oil to thrust washer, position behind gear and insert camshaft.
- Camshaft will rotate slightly when gears mesh with crank gears.
- After camshaft installation, be sure timing marks align.
