Before you start
- Do not start generator set under a load condition
- Continuous overloading can damage generator windings
Procedure
- Push start-stop switch to START at set control or remote control
- Release switch when generator set starts
- Allow unit to warm up before connecting a load
- Observe unit operation and confirm performance is satisfactory
- Apply loads within nameplate rating
