Before you start
- Do not use common hard oil.
Procedure
- Remove bearing cover from generator end bell.
- Clean old grease from bearing recess.
- Repack with approved ball bearing lubricant.
- Ensure retaining clips holding outer race are in place.
- Replace cover using a new gasket if needed.
Specs & values
- Every 3 months or 600 operating hours, whichever first
