Cummins/Onan — Installation Procedure

For these Cummins/Onan models: EGMBT, EGMBT (P4500), EGMBU, EGMBU (P5000E), EGMBU (P5000e), P24500 (Spec A), P5000e (Spec A).

Applies to: Cummins Onan Egmbt, Cummins Onan Egmbu

Procedure

  1. 1. Install the handle assembly (handle, bracket, hinge pin, grips, end plugs, two cotter pins, and fasteners).
  2. 2. Block up the generator set under both frame tubes as shown below. Place a block under the center of the cross-member on the exhaust end.
  3. 3. Install the leg assembly.
  4. 4. Install the wheel and axle assembly (axle assembly and wheel assemblies).
