Cummins/Onan — Install the injection nozzle
Installation

Before you start
- Do not strike the tip against any hard surface.
Procedure
- Clean the mounting recess thoroughly.
- Install a new heat shield to head gasket in cylinder head recess.
- Install heat shield, new nozzle gasket and nozzle adapter.
- Insert nozzle assembly into recess; do not strike tip.
- Install nozzle flange and two cap screws.
- Tighten cap screws alternately to 20-21 ft. lbs.

- 20-21 ft. lbs. cap screw torque
