Before you start
- Do not adjust belt tension to full value with the adjusting screw

Procedure
- Loosen lock nut securing idler pulley to water pump.
- Turn adjusting screw to adjust v-ribbed belt tension to 623 N (140 lb.).
- Rotate crankshaft one revolution to allow belt to stretch and recheck tension.
- Secure idler pulley by tightening the lock nut.
