Procedure
- For slight speed deviation adjust screw C; clockwise decreases, counterclockwise increases engine speed.
- Adjust throttle rod length so throttle lever clears wide-open stop by 1/64 inch.
- Screw bumper screw B out far enough so that it does not function.
- Adjust screw C as above.
- If surging under load, turn screw D out a few turns until surging stops.
- If surging without load, screw bumper screw B in until surging stops; set locknut.
